Section 01Booking & payments.
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Casual kitchen hire must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed.
- Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received.
- Additional charges may apply for extra hours, cleaning, damages or storage requirements.
Section 02Kitchen usage.
- Hirers may only use the allocated kitchen bay and approved equipment.
- The kitchen must be used for lawful food preparation and business activities only.
- Users are responsible for operating all equipment safely and correctly.
- Any faults or equipment issues must be reported immediately.
Section 03Cleaning responsibilities.
- The kitchen bay must be cleaned and left in the same condition as provided.
- All benches, cooking equipment, sinks and floors must be cleaned after use.
- Waste and rubbish must be disposed of appropriately.
- Additional cleaning fees may apply if the area is not left clean.
Section 04Storage.
- Dry storage, fridge and cool room storage may be available upon request and subject to availability.
- All stored items must be clearly labelled.
- Unclaimed or expired items may be removed and disposed of.
Section 05Food safety & compliance.
- Hirers are responsible for complying with all applicable food safety regulations and council requirements.
- Appropriate food handling practices must be followed at all times.
- Users must ensure their staff and contractors comply with workplace safety requirements.
Section 06Access & security.
- Approved users may access the kitchen during their booked times.
- Access codes, keys or security details must not be shared with others.
- The facility may be monitored by security cameras for safety and security purposes.
Section 07Damage & liability.
- Hirers are responsible for any damage caused to equipment, facilities or property during their booking.
- The facility owner is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items or stock.
- Users operate within the facility at their own risk.
Section 08Insurance.
- Hirers may be required to hold appropriate public liability and food business insurance depending on usage type.
- Proof of insurance may be requested before access is granted.
Section 09Cancellations & rescheduling.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking time.
- A minimum cancellation fee equivalent to 4 hours of the booking may apply to all late cancellations or no-shows.
- Management reserves the right to reschedule or cancel bookings due to operational or safety reasons.
Section 10General conditions.
- Smoking, illegal activities or unsafe behaviour are strictly prohibited.
- Management reserves the right to refuse or terminate access for breaches of these terms.
- Terms and conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice.
- All prices are excluding GST
